Dear Albany High Exes,
We want to express our sincere appreciation for all the e-mails, phone calls and cards we received from so many Albany exes after Don's death. And to all those who came to the cemetery service and the reception afterward at the First Baptist Church, a special thank you. It was so gratifying to see so many old friends gathering to remember Don.
A small town like Albany is really just a big family and when a member of that family is taken from us so unexpectedly, it affects the whole town. We were all feeling shock, bewilderment and frustration and we may never understand why something like this happened. But God is the Great Comforter and we have learned that we can rest in His loving arms at times like these.
Once again, thanks for all the expressions of sympathy. God bless you all.
